When are time slips due and paychecks available for pick up?

Time slips must be received at our office no later than 3:00pm on Monday. They may be faxed to 207-854-1405, mailed, or delivered in person to our office. If you fax or mail your time slip, it is a good idea to call Payroll and make sure that it was received. If a time slip is not received by the deadline, your payroll check will be processed the following week.

Do not forget to tell us on the time slip whether you want your payroll check held in our office for pickup or mailed. If you have your check mailed, it should arrive by Saturday. If you elected to have your check held for pickup, you can come in to our office anytime after 7:30am on Friday to collect it.

When would I receive overtime?

If you worked a 48-hour week, the first 40-hours would be paid out as straight time and the remaining 8-hours would be considered overtime, paid out at time and one-half.

Overtime is not paid out based on an 8-hour work day. For example, if you worked a 10-hour day you would not be paid 2 hours of overtime. You would be paid for 10 straight hours.
